SATELLITE OVERVIEW

ABS-3A is a geostationary commercial satellite located at the orbital location 3° West and offers Ku and C-band payload capacity to support broadcast, data, mobility and government applications. It is equipped with 3 C-band beams, 4 Ku-band beams and a global beam, offering expanded communications capacity to the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

ABS-3A is a Boeing 702SP all-electric propulsion satellite, launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9, which entered commercial service in August 2015.
