The ABS fleet of satellites covers 93 percent of the world across the Americas, Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, CIS and Russia. Our fleet comprises 6 satellites: ABS-2, ABS-2A, ABS-3A, ABS-4/Mobisat-1, ABS-6 and ABS-7.
Our extensive coverage enables the delivery of a full range of tailored broadcast, data and telecommunications services in Ku, C, Ka and S-band frequencies.
The successful launch of ABS-2A in June 2016 was the last of our three satellite build strategy, completing a $700M CAPEX program. ABS has utilized the latest technological innovation in the design of these satellites and was one of the very first operators to use the new Boeing 702SP satellite design, featuring all-electric propulsion.
We are planning to expand our fleet with ABS-8, ABS-9 and ABS-10 to enable us to continue to serve our customers with capacity and comprehensive services well into the future.
