In October 2021, ABS confirmed a new agreement with FSMTC to provide, people in the outer islands with further levels of broadband connectivity. E-learning, e-commerce and entertainment delivered via the internet have become essential to improving the quality of life for the people living in FSM and the outer islands. As part of the upgrade, there will be three new links to connect the outer islands of Losap, Nomwin, and Pulap.
“ABS’ longstanding partnership with FSMTC exemplifies our ongoing commitment to the islands of Federated States of Micronesia.
